Thermal Break for Tiny House Steel Framing

Steel framing is highly conductive – it transmits heat very effectively. A tiny house built with steel framing and no thermal breaks would lose a lot of heat to the outside and most likely sweat leading to condensation issues. R0.25 is required by the building code. Increasing this will improve the thermal performance of your tiny house. Weight and max house widths should be considered also.

This Build Magazine explains it well.
