Tiny house Trailer and more

Version 3 brings years of development and refining to a proven platform. The system is highly flexible and can be put to many uses.

Features

Width and Length

  • Two common widths of 2.4m and 3m (2.95m), can do any width up to 3.1m.

  • Lengths range from 3.6m to 10.8m at 0.6m intervals, can do any length in between. Intervals of 0.6m are designed around standard building materials. We also run the popular 8 and 10m lengths.

Detachable Trailer

The chassis simply unbolts from the deck/house to give you options.

  • Take trailer in to get a WOF without taking the complete house.

  • Use the trailer an other use. E.g. pickup building materials

  • Reduce height to lover the house for truck transport

Drip Edge

We are all about the details and have created a drip edge for the cladding to hung past at the front and rear of the trailer. Its a small detail but means quicker and better construction.

Wheel Dolly

The Smart Trailer uses a removable and adjustable wheel dolly in either a a road legal or site configuration.

Road - Frame, wheels, axles, suspension, brakes and mudguards

Site - Frame, wheels, axles

Low Floor Height

We use strong low profile wheels to achieve a low floor height starting at 600mm. This creates a flat deck to build over to keep it simple and quick to get your house started. It is possible to go lower please enquire.

Thermal Sub-floor

You know what it's like to touch steel on a cold day, so why would you build your floor directly on it? Steel conducts approx 350 times better than pine timber meaning the cold will travel straight up and into your home if building directly on steel. We recommend the use of timber and insulation to keep you warmer in winter and cooler in summer, this also reduces your energy bills. More info here. We can build your subfloor.

Accessories

The 'Smart Trailer' platform has many accessories already designed in ready to go. Don't need lifting jacks? So don't select them. Want a trailer with no suspension or brakes? Want a water tank?

Drawbar Mounts Both Ends

Trying to get your mobile tiny house into a tricky position? We’ve got you sorted with a drawbar that can mount either end of the trailer deck.

Trailer with other uses

Why not use that investment sitting under your house for something else like a 3.5T utility trailer.

Adjustable Wheel Dolly

Not sure where the center of gravity will be on your house? Or want to have the ability to freestyle your build as you go and not worry too much about axle placement? We have the solution with a wheel dolly that is adjustable forward and back to ensure you have the correct weight on the vehicle tow bar for safe towing.

Lightweight

We think weight is the most challenging aspect to building a tiny house on wheels (THOW). Our trailers utilise ‘smart design’ using 3D modelling and strength testing software to ensure strength whilst being lightweight compared to others on the market. We used CNC laser cutting and folding to reduce unnecessary weight and in our eyes looks the part. Getting you off on the right foot as every kilogram counts.

Use Multiple Decks

Want to build two tiny houses? Or build another later? Or want to get into the rental cabin business? Buy one drawbar and dolly and multiple decks to get real value from the system.

Quality

We place a large foucs on quality.

Add all sorts of Accessories to make your trailer.
