Tiny houses provide entry to housing market

Are people really living in tiny houses? Kiwi couple Shaye and Tom are a great example - building and designing their own home from scratch. The total cost was $25,000 to build and last month's power and water bills were $20 each. This house fits well into the landscape and feels light, spacious and warm. So could downsizing be the answer for house-hunting Kiwis?
