How important is tiny house trailer adjustable wheels?
How important is it to have adjustable wheels on a trailer house trailer? We would say very important, take this example. Coupling weight was 0kg, meaning there was no weight on the towbar meaning extremely unsafe to tow on the road. Movable weight can be shifted to the front of the house in this case, which we did. Weight increased to 120kg which is better but would be still to heavy in the tail. Only option now was to move the wheels back 300mm in this case to increase coupling weight to 250kg. Which in our opinion is about right for most 3.5T capable utes when the load is around 3.5T. Most tiny houses are close to the 3.5T with items removed meaning there is no option to move things around inside. Only option is adjustable wheels or transport via truck. Fixing the axles is a guess at trailer build stage and very hard to get right unless mass calculated or complete model in 3D.
